Self-Assessment Tools

For Individual Practitioners & for Organizations

The Center has created a series of powerful and unique Self-Assessment Tools for professionals, organizations and communities. These tools are based on the principle: Individuals and communities that collaborate together can be more effective in raising healthy children.

Our Organizational Self-Assessment Tools are designed to assist youth and community organizations – from youth service bureaus to community centers to church youth programs – to identify the challenges and available assets facing them in carrying out their programs.

A unique aspect of our tools is that they not only focus on the resources available within an organization but also those in the wider community, and provide a process for exploring how to link all resources together to accomplish an organization’s mission and goals.

Our Individual Self-Assessment Tools help practitioners chart their professional development history, identifying how their past impacts present practice. They are then guided to opportunities for improved practice.

These tools provide an opportunity for continuous learning and professional development, and are essential in the quest to maintain high standards and quality service.
